SANTA BARBARA, CALIF. (January 15, 2007)--Matthew Clarke, a plaintiffs' litigation attorney with the Santa Barbara law firm of Cappello & Noël, LLP, was named a partner effective (date), according to A. Barry Cappello, managing partner of the firm.
Clarke joined Cappello & Noël in 2002. He represents plaintiffs in insurance bad faith, construction defect, business, intellectual property, product liability and other complex litigation matters. He has also tried cases involving legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, real estate transactions and investments.
"Matt has been with us for almost five years and has practiced law 10 years," says Cappello. "His work ethic, business acumen, sound judgment and skills as a trial lawyer have made his choice as our newest partner easy to make."
Prior to joining Cappello & Noël, Clarke was a litigator with Hager & Dowling in Santa Barbara where he defended insurance coverage and bad faith cases brought against insurance carriers as well as catastrophic injury cases, product liability and general liability defense.
